While the NHL Central Scouting has just published its second ranking of the season, this list includes 41 players from the QMJHL who have attracted the attention of experts and among this lot is Zachary Morin from Lachenaie.
This ranking indicates that Morin is one of four QMJHL players who are projected as potential second-round selections.
The Saint John Sea Dogs left winger finds himself ranked 47th on the NHL list. NHL Central Scouting.
Remember that Morin was an 8th round selection (131st overall) by the Sea Dogs in the 2024 QMJHL draft.
Since his selection, the 17-year-old player and former representative of the Phénix du Collège Esther-Blondin during the 2021-2022 season has accumulated 27 points (10 goals and 17 assists) in 31 games.
