“Storks and deer are enough to make me happy”

The photographer staged his opening on Thursday January 9, 2025 at the Carmes cultural center in Langon. He knocks on the door while his guests are already in the room.

He appears in his camouflage outfit. A camera France 2 tracks him.

The TV crew came to film him on the lookout for wild boars.

“The difficulty today was to meet the gaze of a wild boar during the day,” says the wildlife photographer from Barsac.

“Storks and deer are enough to make me happy,” he continues. What happens inside me is what makes the emotion. You have to accept the frustration, wait hours on the lookout without the animal coming. The main thing is to be passionate and love what you do. »

In this retrospective exhibition, he presents his bestiary photographed – with the patience of a hermit – on the island of Raymond in Glitterin the Landes de Gascogne forest.

There are also his photographs taken in the Masai Mara National Reserve in Kenya (giraffes, elephants, panther).

It is with admiration and respect that he captures the flight of storks, common cranesa barn owl, an owl, a procession of deer in the wheat, a wild boar, an ibex, a American minkan anteater wryneck.
