A quasi-levitating swimming pool, Dubai’s latest fanciful project

After the Burj Khalifathe tallest tower in the world, the Burj Azizithe second tallest skyscraper in the world, the Wall Veil22.5 meters wide or the LuneLune artificial in progress constructionconstructionDubai continues to bring forth ambitious architectural projects, one of the latest of which is called the Regent Residences Dubai, Sankari Place.

The concept of the Dubai Twin Towers

Foster + Partners, a sustainable architecture, urban planning, engineering and design firm present in many cities around the world, imagined this spectacular project of two towers whose summits are connected by a swimming pool, suspended from several hundred meters from the ground. The architecture studio partnered with Sankari Properties, a specialist in luxury real estate in Dubai, and the hotel group IHG Hotels & Resorts for the design of these twin towers.

Their twisted shape is inspired by waterfalls and, through their construction, the architectural firm wanted to exploit “ connections with nature » thanks to the advantages of “generous shaded terraces and optimized views of the seafront” since the two skyscrapers will be located in the Marasi marina.

Towers oriented towards the Burj Khalifa, among others…

Far from reaching the size of the Burj Khalifathe twin towers will rise to a height of 180 meters each, accommodating a single apartment per floor for a total of sixty high-end homes. All apartments will benefit from a private swimming pool located outside, forming an integral part of the facades of the two towers and giving the impression that the water is cascading there.

The two highest levels of the twin towers will house a suite ultra-penthouse, whose spaces on either side will be connected by an incredible swimming pool almost levitating in the sky of Dubai.

At their base, the two buildings will have green spaces, water games, private dining rooms, a gym equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and several indoor and outdoor swimming pools including residents will be able to take full advantage.
