In Paris, the gallery Ceysson & Bénétière deploy the latest abstract compositions of the painter with a virtuoso brush. By following a protocol that she developed over several years, Claire Chesnier shapes color tonescreates gradients and oscillations.
“Claire Chesnier stands in the distance,” says the author Maylis de Kerangal who signs the presentation text of this exhibition. She observe the gaphis words play in the silence, clear, timed, it is in this a replica of his painting which, for its part, plays in the white of the sheet, spawns without forcing, convolves with the paper in the streak of a wake, the sinuosity of a flow, the grain of a vaporization. » We are absorbed by this spectral presence…

2. Fall in love with Sarah Valente’s stories
Sarah Valente (born 1988) is a nature magician. Half-shaman, half-alchemist, the young Franco-Italian, resident at Poush, the talent incubator in Aubervilliers, makes the earth speak (which she models) and gives voice to the mineral world (aluminum, glass, bronze, etc.). With his extraordinary luminescent creationsthis scientific poet summons the geniuses of the cosmos and the roots which innervate our forests. To fall under the spell of the owner of Casa Franca and founder of the Greenline Foundation, all you have to do is open the doors of the Romero Paprocki gallerieswhich devotes a first solo exhibition totally captivating.
Giving pride of place to sculpture and installationSarah Valente nourishes her work with painting, photography, and stories which always constitute the genesis of her works: “I want to make people fall in love with the beauty of the things that surround us and this nature with limitless creativity so that “They instinctively want to protect it,” she explains. Thus his exhibition « Infinite Love » takes us into thefantasy epic of Solemar, the Traveler of the sky, and of Nereïa, the Knight of the waters, on a land devastated by men.

3. Discover the musician Keziah Jones as a designer
Large black lines, which intertwine and create characters… Signed: Keziah Jones (born in 1968). For the first time in France, the galerie Eric Dupontin the 3e district of Paris, reveals the visual work of the Nigerian musician and singerwhich is about to release a new album in January next. Keziah Jones is not only a guitarist who thrills us, he is also designer. A practice developed since his early childhood, which for him is directly connected to his music.
When the artist gets stuck on a composition, it’s the drawing that comes to him: “When I reach a point where nothing is ‘resolved’ musically, I take a pencil,” he says. I like the sound of my arm moving on the paper. Then I like this hypnotic feeling after realizing I’ve been doing this for hours. It’s a map of my emotions. » We will also read in these abstract compositions – where collage is sometimes mixed – music, swirls of jazz, scansions and syncopations…

5. Picking the Paris rose with Heidi Bucher
You’ve probably never heard of Heidi Bucher (1926–1993), and yet! Born near Winterthur, Switzerland, she is one of those avant-garde women artists very active during the 1970s, but fell into oblivion until late recognition. His first works are abstract collages made of pieces of shell and mother-of-pearl, as evidenced by The Rose of Paris (1954).
Through exhibitions like the one dedicated to him today by the galerie Mendes Wood DM in Paris, we discover the scale of a work mixing drawings, textiles, performancesbut also space installations large latex prints – its trademark with which it intends to preserve the memory of a building, furniture, doors, windows. A way for the artist to exorcise his demons and childhood traumas from the Second World War.
