Photo exhibition by Tristan Hayer and Lionel Aurand

Isabelle Cavalier and Alice Tournolias, respectively director of the tourist office and coordinator of cultural activities, responsible for the Gargantua space media library, welcomed into their premises the public who came to attend the inauguration of the animal photo exhibition by photographers Lionel Aurand and Tristan Hayer, Tuesday November 12.

The exhibition will be visible untilto December 7just like the animal film made in the region by Lionel Aurand, projected on the giant screen of the tourist office, available for schools.

After the speeches of elected officials who were particularly happy with the cooperation between the two cultural and tourist structures, each photographer explained their approach, their approach to the wild world, their precautions not to disturb the animals, their special relationship with certain animals which end up get used to their presence, from the ibexes of the Glières plateau to the deer of the local forests at the time of the bellowing, including the tawny owls, the great egrets, the great spotted woodpeckers, the tits, the fox cubs, hares or deer…

Each encounter is a godsend, a unique opportunity and sometimes the animal presents its best profile in front of the lens, with lighting highlighting it.

For these moments of happiness, how many hours of watching, of motionless vigil, of silent approach, at dawn or at sunset, at the moment when the forest awakens…

The two photographers shared their passion with the public and their photographs are a school of life, most of which are taken outside the hunting season, because animals become much more suspicious and fearful from September to February…

The film “Le Chêne” will be screened Saturday, November 30, at 3:30 p.m., at the media library.
