One day we put them in boxes, shoe boxes. To make room. And presto! In the attic, or in a cupboard in the basement. We’ll see later. The years, the decades have passed. And then, one fine day, we come across those old video cassettes, those reels of film from so long ago, those forgotten negatives or slides. So, in the trash? What should we do with them now that the video recorders, camcorders and projectors that made it possible to bring these images to life have disappeared?

Resurrecting these memories is, however, entirely possible. This is what the small Le Mans company Rétro Images has been offering for fifteen years now. In its premises on rue d’Alger, in Le Mans, we bring back to life these moments immortalized then, finally, stored away.
