Varennes-le-Grand Photo Club: An exhibition on wild nature not to be missed! – info-chalon.com

This exhibition, which was a great success, will still be present this Sunday, October 13!

This is a very beautiful 6th exhibition on wild nature which was organized by the Varennes le Grand Photo Club, this weekend of Saturday October 12 and Sunday October 13 at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Foyer Rural, Yvonne Sarcey room in Varennes Le Grand (71).

Photographic shots taken by amateur photographers who were able to capture animals with very expressive looks, as well as photographs of Dame nature.

A very beautiful exhibition which offered diversity in the photographs proposed. Nature from elsewhere, photographed on French territory but also in other places: Costa Rica, South Africa, Wales…

Photographs, each more beautiful than the last, which were taken by the photographers: Dominique Fournier, Dominique Tillerrot, Maurice Blanchard, Jean Yves Arnoult, Dominique De Rozerevil, Marie-Claude Terret, Bruno Presumey, Yves Siri, Thierry Langlois with this year as guest of honor:

The animal pastel artist, Rémy Ruget.

Also, this Saturday, October 12 from 11 a.m., the opening of the exhibition took place in front of around thirty people:

Excerpt from the speech of Dominique Fournier, President of the Varennes-le-Grand photo club: “ Instants Nature Sud Chalonnais… in 2017, we gave birth to this photo club, right here in Varennes-le-Grand. All respectful and grateful for what nature offers us on a daily basis. So of course, we were not the pioneers but we all had the desire to transmit this art, to immortalize the importance of the ecosystem that surrounds us and to allow, through the exhibition, visitors to establish a close connection with the world around us […]

Using more or less fast shutter speeds, compositions and different natural lighting, nature photographers tell us stories, make us aware of the fragility of our environment and try to establish an emotional connection with the visitor. Also, I would like to thank all the members present here for their work, their keen eye for detail, their patience and their deep respect for the subjects photographed. I would also like to thank everyone who responded to the invitation to our 6th nature photo exhibition. […]

This year, our guest is not an animal photographer but an animal pastel artist in the presence of Rémy Ruget. Thanks to Nicolas from Studio 11 Chalon who has responded favorably to our invitations for 3 years. He will be present on both days and remains at your disposal for any advice or photographic needs. Obviously, without the help provided by the municipality, this exhibition could not take place. So thank you to Mr Eric Valentim, Mayor of Varennes-le-Grand, for making the room available, to Mr Pierre Rety, Deputy Mayor, for his availability, and his responsiveness and to the technical services for the transport of the grids. Thank you ! “.

An exhibition to visit again this Sunday, October 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m..
