This Internet user had fun completing album covers using AI

Last week, we presented the latest tool developed by Adobe, a generative image AI called Generative Fill and directly integrated into its flagship editing software Photoshop. Neither one nor two, the curious decided to put it to the test in order to test its capacities like the enthusiast of new technologies Alexander Dobrokotov.

The one who evolves as a creative director within the agency Dada Agency was keen to test all the tools offered by Générative Fill and above all, its possible complementarity with the native functions of Photoshop. And it seems that the latter was not disappointed with these few tests.

Indeed, he has selected several very popular musical album covers, notably those of David Bowie, the Beatles and even Nirvana. From these simple images, he let the artificial intelligence software do the rest and thus come up with a larger shot of the image to illustrate what might be around. From there he obtained a good base that he completed with other elements to reshape the image and make it even more realistic.

Overall, the Generative Fill function seems rather efficient and qualitative, although not everyone likes it. However, the initiator of this project entitled AI Molodca precisely wanted to highlight the creative capacities that this new tool could offer, which seems to have affected many Internet users according to its https://twitter.com/dobrokotov/status/1662576774557884416 which captured the attention of over 1 million people and generated over 10,000 reactions.

Discover below the revisits of famous music albums by the creative Alexander Dobrokotov. And in a similar spirit, we invite you to (re)discover the project of this Internet user who used an AI to adapt the characters of Harry Potter in a Pixar way.
