Julien Courbet began his career as a journalist in the 1980s working for FR3 Aquitaine. He then joined France 2 in the 1990s. He then worked for the show So do, do, do alongside Jacques Martin. Then, it was on TF1 that he worked by hosting Without a doubt between 1994 and 2008. Between 2013 and 2014, he worked on TMC before becoming a presenter at C8 and D8 between 2014 and 2018. We were then able to find him at the presentation ofTake it or leave it, of Weak link, of It’s just TV as well as other shows.

In 2018, the presenter left C8 to join M6. He thus succeeded Bastien Cadéac in the presentation of Capital on September 16, 2018. But that’s not all: we were also able to find him at the presentation of The best offer, Who wants to be my partner? Et It can happen to you which has been broadcast live on the sixth channel since 2020. Finally, since 2021, we find the host in Call for witnesses. On the private side, he has been married to Catherine Fellonneau since 1998 with whom he has two children. But, where does the couple live when the presenter is not filming?

Julien Courbet’s little house on a Norman farm
It is in Normandy that Julien Courbet chose to settle down with his wife Catherine, far from the tumult of Paris. To rest and enjoy the calm of the countryside, the couple chose to invest in a pleasant little farm which they had restored. The charming cottage is located in the small village of Saint-Aubin-sur-Gaillon in Eure, in Upper Normandy. It is surrounded by corn fields and there are several animals there, including goats. “We found this little house to renovate in the middle of the fields”, the presenter confided to L’éveil de Lisieux, while asserting: “If I hadn’t found this little farm in the countryside, I think I’d be a little bitter.”

In fact, he specified: “I could no longer bear taking my children on weekends to places where we couldn’t even sit down, and then breathe… You can’t even know what we breathe in Paris, it’s a disaster. So I said we really had to find something around here, even if it was very small in the countryside.”. So, the host chose Normandy because it is close to Paris and he can therefore go there every weekend to rest. “It’s a sublime region,” he also told the newspaper.

The tender and rare confidences of Julien Courbet about his family
Julien Courbet and his wife Catherine Courbet have been married for 27 years. In 2000, they had their first child Lola, then a second in 2001, Gabin. The presenter remains rather discreet about his private life but he nevertheless confided about his wife in the columns of the magazine Nous Deux released in June 2023. “I’m lucky to have a very close-knit family,” he said before revealing: “I have been married for twenty-five years to a wonderful woman.” He had previously confided to Femme Actuelle: “Catherine my wife has always been there to channel me, to let me do everything I wanted to do but telling me, ‘here’s Julien if you do that, the consequences will be that, whereas if you go- there…’ We have a duo that works perfectly well.”

In addition, the presenter is very close to his children even if they are grown up. “This summer, the four of us are going to go away because my 23-year-old daughter and my 21-year-old son are still willing to spend vacations with their parents…” Had he indicated to Us Two before concluding: “My family is my gold, my pillar. When you have a strong family, you can get through any situation.” Thus, we can imagine that the host’s family meets regularly with family in the Normande house.
