These are artistic meetings which are becoming rare, but which should not be missed under any circumstances. From month of Decemberthe Orsay museum reopens its doors to the public beyond its usual hours, to offer exceptional nightlife where the arts merge and offer a moment out of timein a unique setting. On your calendars, the first date to note is December 5 !


An artistic evening dedicated to men

After an evening dedicated to impressionism organized on May 16 as part of the exhibition 1874THE “nocturnal curious people” from the Musée d'Orsay are officially making their return. On December 5, it's an evening devoted to the theme of portraits of men and male figures in the work of Gustave Caillebotte which will be organized on the occasion of the exhibition Caillebotte, painting men. From world of musicfashion or comics, Drag Kings and young artists will be present to question what is masculine in the 21st century. Good news, this event will be freeon presentation of a museum access ticket!


Monthly evenings on choreographic creation

From 7:30 p.m., come and meet the comic book author and illustrator Felix Auvard. He will discuss how it is possible to manage his existential crisis when you are a 26-year-old man, whose daily life is punctuated by anxieties, climate concerns or even economic insecurity. From 7 p.m., the ArtetSens immersive experiencealongside five artists will also be offered. Through singing, dancing or drawing, your senses and emotions will be mobilized to explore the Caillebotte exhibition in a whole new way. In parallel, un DJ set whose programming was created in partnership with the Rosa Bonheur taverns will take place from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. at Café Campana. From 8:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., the Drag Kings of the French cabaret Kings Factory will take over the nave of the museum to offer a performance that will revisit 19th century men's wardrobe. From 9:30 p.m. to 10:10 p.m., place at LESCOP showcase ready to make you dance to the rhythm of pop and soaring melodies.

Once a month until March 2025other nocturnal events will punctuate the programming of the Musée d'Orsay. With the Sketchbooks — Architecturea cycle of choreographic sketches designed by the Paris Dance Project, Benjamin Millepied and Solenne du Haüs Mascré invite the public to get involved in the process of creating the contemporary dance. These evenings will also be accessible free of charge on December 19, January 16, February 6 and March 13, in the village hall.
