Alexandre Antoniolli was, during the night from Sunday to Monday, in the right place and in the right place at the right time. He took pictures of comet Tuschinshan-Atlas as he enters a new professional cycle.

There is always a story behind an unusual photo. Loyal subscriber to Petit Bleu d’, Alexandre Antoniolli sent us a photo of the Tsuchinshan-Atlas comet at the beginning of the week. He took it from his home, Sunday evening, on the heights of Vianne, precisely at a place called Brousteau in Lavardac. Just at sunset. The show was exceptional.

“It was my mother-in-law who warned me,” he explains. We were able to share this family moment with my children. The comet was visible to the naked eye but it is even more visible with the iPhone. I had already noticed this phenomenon during the fires in the Landes. In the same place, we could not see them but they appeared with the iPhone.”

Alexandre Anroniolli is aware that he was in the right place, at the right time. An acquaintance told him that she had not been able to observe him in Laroque. Described as the “comet of the century”, Tsuchinshan-Atlas is a traveler to the confines of the Solar System. She will only return in 80,000 years!

He plans to participate in the Diagonale des fous in October 2025

Pure chance or simple coincidence, Alexandre, a 44-year-old native of Agen, captures this moment as his life changes direction. Manager at the Citya real estate agency in Porte du Pin for 19 years, he is beginning a new professional adventure. He becomes GAN general agent in Nérac. He partners with Corinne Rouzière and Gérald Berthoumieu.

A long-distance runner, he plans to take part in the legendary Diagonale des fous in October 2025. The ultra-trail is a monument. Alexandre has already tried his hand at the ultra-trail from Puy Mary to (he covered the 113 km in 20 hours; 5,000 m D+). In the past, he has also won two races: the 20 km of the 29th edition of the Brulhois trail in June 2022 in 1 h 34’36’ and, in March 2023, the 24 km of the Rotatrail d’Estillac in 1 h 47 ’29.
