Ryan Reynolds ‘attacks’ Hugh Jackman for coming out of retirement

The best enemies in the world are them: Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman! The two actors love to hate each other (in friendship, of course), they who have respectively played the mutants Deadpool and Wolverine on our screens for several years now. As the release of their joint film draws closer, the first throws a nice dig at the second through an interview… And it’s hilarious!

Ryan Reynolds Mocks Wolverine’s Retirement

On July 24, French cinemas will be invaded by curses and heads being cut off with Adamantium claws. It’s a veritable festival of blood and enjoyable vulgarities that awaits fans in Deadpool 3, the third (and final?) part of the adventures of the Red and Black Mercenary. The film is all the more an event that Hugh Jackman came out of retirement to play Wolverineeven though he had hung up his superhero costume at the end of the magnificent Logan, in 2017. Funnily enough, the good-natured rivalry between the two stars of the film echoes the more combative one, which will be that of their characters in Deadpool 3.

Ahead of the film’s release, the duo began insulting each other, Ryan Reynolds happily calling Hugh Jackman a liar and a coward on the microphone of an AP Entertainment journalist!

Now I think, I think we can all see that Hugh is a liar, you know? He is a horrible coward and a liar. Yes, here he comes again and again. You know, you have to find out how he comes back because that’s one of the funniest aspects of the movie.

A statement that should tickle the imagination of Marvel Studios fans, two months before the release of Deadpool 3 in dark rooms. We have difficulty curbing our impatience with this idea, don’t you?
