“It’s a childhood dream”, Mister V talks about his partnership with Paris Basket via his pizza brand

The videographer Mister V recently became one of the sponsors of Paris Basket through his pizza brand. A partnership that the 30-year-old comedian, passionate about the orange ball and big fan of the capital club, is delighted about, which begins its playoff campaign this Wednesday against Cholet in Betclic Élite.

He didn’t wait for the inauguration of the Adidas Arena to come and make his voice heard in the stands. Mister V already supported Paris Basket when it played in Pro B at Halle Carpentier. And the videographer with millions of subscribers on the networks is now one of the official sponsors of the capital club, via his pizza brand (“Pizza Delamama”). A partnership sealed three months ago which is delighted by Yvick Letexier (his real name), passionate about the orange ball since a young age. As Paris Basket begins its playoff campaign this Wednesday against Cholet in Betclic Élite (having already won the Leaders Cup and the Eurocup this season), the comedian from Grenoble does not hide his happiness.

“It’s a childhood dream. Really,” he confides to Le Parisien. “Around 14, during a trip to the United States and Canada with my father, I remember telling him that I would dream of creating a brand and sponsoring a club. At the time, I was thinking of Grenoble I found it crazy to have my name on the jerseys of a senior team, even at a low level (…) And there, I am a partner with the European champions, even if I am not on the jersey. of this competition (the Eurocup). Being on a Betclic Élite jersey was unexpected, even more so with a team that has this American and NBA DNA that I love, especially via the boss (David Kahn) who comes from the Minnesota Wolves.”

“If they go to the Euroleague, will we still be interesting for them?”

Connected to Victor Wembanyama, who invited him last year to his party for the NBA draft lottery, Mister V details the contours of his deal with Paris Basket: “It’s an amicable agreement. We doesn’t pay anything, they don’t pay anything. It’s really visibility for them because I talk about it on my networks.”

While he has just launched his “Delamama Burgers” by partnering with KFC, the YouTuber hopes to be visible as long as possible near the Paris Basket logo, with whom he is committed until the end of the season . “We want to continue to be part of this adventure,” he assures, appearing lucid. “But if they go to the Euroleague, they will probably need sponsors who bring more money. Will we still be interesting for them? I can offer pizzas, but I’m not sure that will allow players to be faster (laughs).”
