Josélito Michaud announces heartbreaking news: he is leaving television for good after more than 20 years in this profession.

It is on his Facebook page that the star shared a long message alongside a video in which he explains that he has made the decision to end his career as an animator, but that it is not for as long as he retires! In fact, he mentions that he will concentrate on other projects, which promise to be very interesting.

“I’m leaving television animation for good after 20 years! After presenting, co-producing and producing the shows: Guess who’s coming tonight on TVA airwaves, We always take a train for life, A train for Christmas for ICI RC, Glory, but at what price?, Pauline Marois, a woman with a destiny for Télé-Québec, The American Dream for RDI and RC, Josélito’s major events on behalf of Historia and my last broadcast, Josélito at the heart of the world for RC. I’ve been doing this job as a TV host for 20 years and it’s now time to bow out, not without sadness. It was my childhood dream to be on television to avoid hearing the screaming in the house. I made this dream come true and I still have more on my list. (…) I am eternally grateful to you! I’m not going to rest, I’m in good shape, but rather focus on other areas of my interest. For my last years, I will write books, give conferences, write stories for television, do concepts, have my podcast I wouldn’t want to be indiscreet on the radio where only my voice will guide the interview. (…) Thank you for being so numerous to watch my shows. I have always tried to ask the questions you would have liked to ask the guests. Thank you,” he said while thanking the people around him who made his career in television possible.

We wish him the best for the future and will stay tuned to discover his many great projects to come!

Congratulations on these last few years!
