10/10/24 – Acquisition – Canberra, National Portrait Gallery – It is the first painting by Paul Gauguin to enter Australian public collections. The Blue Roofor Farm at Poulduwas acquired by the National Gallery of Australia from a private collector thanks to the generous support of the National Gallery Foundation. Recently loaned to the London gallery Ordovas for its exhibition Gauguin and the Contemporary Landscapethe work had already been presented publicly several times.
