Reconciliation, or not? Difficult to follow on the royal family side. While Charles III and Harry seemed to be getting along better lately, given Prince Harry’s few visits to London, everything ultimately doesn’t seem so smooth between father and son.

New information has indeed circulated on a proposal from Charles III to his son, on the occasion of his coming to England last week, which he allegedly refused. As a reminder, the Duke was back on his native land to attend the 10th anniversary of the competition Invictus Games, which he himself created.

An express return

For the occasion, Prince Harry indeed attended a service at Saint Paul’s Cathedral this Wednesday. An event dear to the heart of the Duke of Sussex, given the beautiful values defended by this multi-sport competition, dedicated to soldiers and veterans wounded in war and people with disabilities.

This tenth anniversary was thus the opportunity for Harry to return to his native country, although his return was brief. What’s more, the prince no longer has a place to stay since he had to give up the keys to Frogmore Cottage last summer, after being expelled from their home in England by the royal family. In fact, the couple no longer works for the British crown, and have therefore had their home taken away.

This proposal from King Charles III that Prince Harry would have refused

According to new information, reported by the Sunday Times, the king, Charles III, would have offered his son to stay in a royal residence during his stay in England. A proposal that Prince Harry would have refused, preferring to sleep in a hotel, as he did last February when he came to check on his father.

This proposal from Charles III compensates for the fact that the king, invited to the tenth anniversary of the Invictus Games, created by his own son, was unable to attend, because a schedule considered too busy. Thus, father and son were not able to meet during Prince Harry’s stay. A spokesperson for the Duke had in fact declared on this subject: “This will unfortunately not be possible due to His Majesty’s full schedule. The Duke of course understands his father’s engagement diary and various other priorities and hopes to see him soon.”
