Commissioned by Warner Bros. Discovery UK and Ireland series is set to look at the years-long battle between the pop star and the record producer, it was announced on Tuesday. The documentary, titled Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Bloodwill air in two parts as part of the WBD series UK vs, which also looked at Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s divorce, and Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s high-profile legal battle.

The project will reportedly focus on the fallout from music mogul Scooter Braun’s purchase of Big Machine Records in 2019, where the star recorded his first six albums, and their ownership by the producer, leading to Taylor Swift to re-record the albums. The documentary series is also expected to delve into the industry practices, fandom culture and gender dynamics that shaped the infamous feud.

A summary of the docuseries states: “True to the vs format, both episodes will examine opposing sides of the argument; one exploring Swift’s version that the sale was conducted without consulting her and that she has since been blocked from repurchasing her masters, and the other examining Braun’s allegations that Swift refused to negotiate and instead incited a public feud by turning his fan base against him.”

The first of Taylor Swift vs. Scooter Braun: Bad Blood is scheduled for June in the United Kingdom.
