Many celebrities walked the green carpet of the Metropolitan Museum of Art this Monday, May 6, on the occasion of the Met Gala 2024. This year, Anna Wintour wanted to celebrate nature with a dress code that was flowery to say the least: The Garden of time, which can be translated as The garden of time. This unmissable fashion event closed with music, in Tribeca, during an after party not to be missed.

If Emily Ratakowski raised the temperature in a transparent dress by Givency, revealing her sexy Victoria’s Secret lingerie, Kendall Jenner, she created a surprise with two outfits, each as breathtaking as the other. For the first part of the evening, the 28-year-old model set her sights on a vintage dress also by Givency. A creation that comes straight from the spring-summer 1997 collection and which left its mark with its corset in the shape of angel wings and its flowing skirt.

For the second half of the evening, Kylie Jenner’s sister changed before appearing in a lace mini dress from the Vivienne Westwood label. Handmade in a London workshop, this creation by Andreas Kronthaler perfectly fits its shape and highlights its silhouette. She is composed with a gold silk duchess corset and a plunging neckline. We particularly like its draped beaded lace, bell sleeves and scalloped edge. As for accessories, Kendall Jenner opted for white strappy sandals and a micro handbag.

Earlier in the evening, Kendall Jenner also caused a stir in a stunning vintage black dress by Givenchy. From the fall-winter 1999 collection by Alexander McQueen, the latter has never been worn. It is made of nude and black tulle. More than 100,000 beads and sequins hand embroidered 500 hours come to enhance it. “We did a ton of research, including the work of the talented and remembered Alexander McQueen, and Kendall and I both fell in love of this dress. Surprisingly, they had it”explained Dani Michelle, Kendall Jenner’s stylist to Vogue.
