From June 29 to September 29, it will be the 14e edition of the Moncoutant-sur-Sèvre photographic festival.
The particularity of this exhibition is that it is open non-stop since all the photos are installed outdoors, either in the spaces of the Château de Genève, Place de la Mairie or in the presbytery garden as well as on the walls of certain buildings.
The association’s leaders announced: This year, the exhibition will celebrate the beauty of nature, highlighting landscapes, fauna, flora and other elements that remain fragile… and also the city, the artistic and the Urbex (urban exploration).

Isabelle Serro, guest of honor

The guest of honor is Isabelle Serro, a photographer reporter who has been traveling to so-called sensitive areas around the world for more than 20 years.
His reports are broadcast in the international press, exhibited and rewarded. She will be present in Moncoutant on June 29 for the inauguration at 3 p.m. alongside the other photography artists invited to Moncoutant. On Saturday at 9 p.m., at Stella, she will host a debate after the screening of the film “Passeurs d’humanité” (free entry).
Alongside him, around ten photographers will exhibit their works: Maud Bernos, Karina Delbos, Michel Dumergue, Laurent Echenoz, Ludwig Favre, Jean-Michel Lenoir, Charlotte Parenteau-Denoël, Jen Pierre Rieu, Natalya Saprunova, Édouard Salmon, Carole Touati. And Jacques Pellerin will exhibit a collection of photos of pink flamingos in the Salle des 3 Tilleuls.

A hundred photos

The photography option class created two years ago at Prévert college will also have the support of the festival.
In total, we will find more than a hundred large format photos and even XXL for those attached to the walls of the houses lining the street which goes from the castle to the church. Volunteers will continue to provide guided tours for businesses, associations during the summer and for the 1,000 schoolchildren who come to see the exhibition in September. The three co-presidents are also looking for interested people to help them during this festival.
