It is yet another superb photo fair which allowed many visitors to discover local talents.

The Garonne et Canal Plastic Arts association has closed the doors of its 6th Salon dedicated to photography. Nearly 400 visitors, photo enthusiasts, visited this exhibition where 28 photographers presented 150 works under the theme “Around red”.

Visitors came from the department, but also from neighboring departments, this Show being recognized among photo enthusiasts.

The president congratulated the guest of honor, Jérôme Antoine, for the quality of his work and for his kindness towards the artists and the public who often requested him.

During the dismantling, before drawing the raffle, the president, Michèle Bolhy, thanked all the photographers for the quality of their works, specifying that she had received nothing but praise for this exhibition, as well as the club and the independents. She also thanked all the partners of this exhibition who support culture in the field of painting and photography.

The public praised a photo by Michèle Bolhy, “Avirons au repos”, which was taken in Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val. This was followed by “Rainy Marathon”, by Gérald Lafargue, and “Vers l’ailleurs”, by Rémi Ros.

Raffle draw: Ms. Vasseur, Ms. Denègre, Ms. Louda, Ms. Marcuzzo and Ms. Bélaygue. These people will be contacted by telephone.

The AAPGC still has places

The association is there to encourage, promote, develop and encourage the practice of drawing, painting, sculpture and photography.

If you like painting and/or photography, the association is there to give you complete satisfaction by offering courses/workshops.

Membership is 18 euros for those who take lessons and 20 € for people who only attend the exhibitions.

Painting workshops

Children are welcomed from 7 years old and groups are of 10 students maximum. Classes last two hours. The workshops are versatile and allow you to practice and combine several techniques. Monday, adult classes running from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, children’s classes from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Digital photo workshops

In the form of workshops, on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. or meetings which take place in the evening, Saturday or Sunday depending on the themes covered.
